Full-stack Developer
Help us to accelerate and challenge global tech giants
Jotta Group is a successful Norwegian cloud provider for secure storage, synchronization, and sharing of files and photos. Today, we are the European leader in a market dominated by international tech giants. As rising geopolitical tensions and other factors are driving consumers globally to seek alternatives to "big tech", we see a clear potential to scale our Jottacloud solution far beyond Europe in the years to come.
To support this ambition, we are looking for a senior full-stack developer for our growth team - a team focused on enabling global growth by combining technical expertise with commercial insights.
As a product-led growth company, competing with global tech leaders requires us to turn commercial ambition into measurable growth capabilities across high-leverage segments of our core user journeys. In this full-stack role, you will sit at the intersection of our engineering, product, and commercial functions - focusing on the fastest and most impactful ways to drive user and revenue growth without compromising long-term product quality. You will work across backend, frontend, and apps, making changes that range from small UI improvements to deep logic changes, always aiming to refine and improve elements such as how users discover, adopt, or pay for Jottacloud.
What you will do
Own growth initiatives end-to-end, from problem framing and hypothesis definition to implementation, rollout, measurement, and iteration.
Design, build, and iterate on growth initiatives across backend, frontend, and apps, focusing on key user flows such as sign-up, onboarding, payments, referrals, and more.
Deliver technically challenging changes that cut across systems, teams, and product areas, balancing speed, quality, and scalability.
Work closely with the CCO, marketing, and design to identify, prioritize, and evaluate growth opportunities based on data.
Enable and leverage A/B testing when relevant.
Implement and own analytics tools and tracking to measure the impact of marketing investments and initiatives, when needed.
Turn successful experiments or initiatives into robust, maintainable product capabilities that can scale with the business.
In short
This is a hands-on, full-stack developer role in a dedicated growth team, where you will design, build, and ship solutions with engineering decisions directly impacting revenue and user growth. The role is ideal for a technically strong developer who enjoys working closely with metrics, user experience, and commercial outcomes.
Who you are
You are a senior full-stack developer with expertise in the entire stack and a strong interest in growth, user flows, monetization, and business outcomes.
You are comfortable working in commercially critical domains such as pricing, billing, subscriptions, and payments.
You move quickly from idea to implementation and know how to evolve successful experiments into long-term product solutions.
You are comfortable making technical decisions independently, even when requirements are incomplete or evolving.
You thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities shift, outcomes matter, and collaboration comes naturally when needed.
You are self-driven with a strong sense of ownership, proactively identifying opportunities and turning ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions.
Ideally, you have experience from consumer tech or B2C SaaS environments and thrive in data-driven, experimentation-oriented teams.
Ideally, you have previous experience with supporting growth-related initiatives, and are familiar with technologies like Customer.io, PostHog, GA4, Segment, or similar.
